One of my greatest joys is watching the local native birds. Whether they are in my own backyard or in one of the nearby conservation areas, I always find something to amaze me. Being able to record them in my drawings is not only a way to preserve and share, but also requires deep observation and comparison of other species. Constantly figuring out ways to get closer to them is both an endless quest and a great privilege.
